Where PEKANA Began

PEKANA's story starts in 1980, inside a small German pharmacy — the Burgapotheke — with a clear goal: to help restore and support health by natural means. That work grew into PEKANA Naturheilmittel GmbH, a medium-sized, family-run manufacturer now based in Kißlegg, in the rural Allgäu region of southern Germany, and today run by co-founder Katharina Beyersdorff.

Over four decades, that single pharmacy idea grew into a range of more than 70 homeopathic-spagyric remedies, each formulated to address conditions that modern life tends to trigger from more than one cause — supporting the body as a whole, not just a single symptom.

What sets PEKANA apart within homeopathy is its spagyric production method — a plant-processing tradition dating back to the Renaissance physician Paracelsus, modernized by PEKANA for consistent, pharmaceutical-grade manufacturing.
